Arjun (Raja), the native of a remote village while spending the vacation with his friends, accidentally comes across Sujata (Ishana). Their friendship soon matures into love. After vacations, Arjun and Sujata leave to pursue their higher education. Arjun's friend Kiran (Anoop) once shows Sujata's photos in his cell phone as his fiancee. On hearing this Arjun's efforts to trace Sujata are in vain. Incidentally, Sujata had joined the same college where Arjun and Kiran were studying. Sujata, happy to see Arjun comples him to reveal their love to Kiran. When he explains to Kiran, the latter immediately withdraws without hesitation. When Arjun learns of Kiran's father's (Talaivasal Vijay) anger and consequently Kiran's suicide attempt, he decides to leave the place to unite Kiran and Sujata. But Sujata cannot forget Arjun. Arjun goes to Kolkata and decides to perform a show to raise funds for an orphanage. When the program is telecast, Sujata sees and asks Kiran to bring Arjun. At this juncture, a murder attempt is made on Arjun and he finds that Kiran was the mastermind behind that. When Kiran and Sujata come to see Arjun, Kiran misguides Sujata to believe that Arjun suspects her fidelity. However in the climax, the truth is out and the film ends on a happy note.
