Bindaas is the debut film as a director for Veeru Potla. He joins the league of Sreenu Vytla and company who are known for dishing out entertaining dramas with comedy as the leading quotient.

For Manoj, this is one truly, genuinely good movie and it would be an understatement if one had to say this would be the so far decent effort in the Manchu family. No divide and rule statement this. One because Manoj doesn't repeat his mistakes. He doesn't make his dimple obvious like he did in Prayanam, never tries to dominate the character beside him but helps the director spread the butter evenly all over the story.

The first fifteen minutes is a bit trying, you wonder what this character is all about, what he is trying to convey or why he behaves the way he does but as the film progresses he makes the job easier for the audience.

The entire credit must go to Veeru Potla for directing an ensemble cast, a large one to arrive at a climax that is not clichéd and then to Manoj for keeping the quality of a the character coherent throughout the film..a little silly, a little comic and violent when it gets necessary. Even the dances are in tune with his role.
